I had both but many years ago; hold it I believe the pre was a C1000. A friend still has it and it was working the last time I spoke to him. If you like them now leave them alone would be my advice, they will sound different "restored"; you may or may not like them better. Restore them when they need it but I would have them tested now to see if they are functioning properly ; you can't always tell by listening.

Hi, anybody have any idea about the value of these two units. They are both working, and I love the way they sound. Trying to decide if I should spend the money and get them "restored" re-capped. Any advice
