Low volume listening Speaker

Mission QX-2 speaker claims good for low volume listening. Stereophile and What Hi Fi both also vouch same in their reviews. I have not seen any other speaker claim such feature. My question is what technology is behind good for low volume listening?

One type does it the best that is full range, and that’s ESL’s, especially Quad 57’s. With maybe nice 20w Class-A solid state like a Schiit Aegir.
Very unit/flat/townhouse friendly. This was reference quality back in the 70/80’s with Nelson Pass’s first diy pure constant current source Class-A (no a/b)

Cheers George
