Looking for an amp to power concept 20's in bedroom

As the title says I have a pair of Q Acoustic Concept 20s in my bedroom (which I assume is an acoustic nightmare). I have a budget of 1k and am mostly interested in running a tube pre with a SS power amp. 

Or alternatively...do you think the Denon AVR-2105 is good enough for my speakers and room.

Good enough or not is subjective, the Denon AVR-2105 is a home theater receiver, if you want a 2 channel setup, my suggestion is a  Vincent Audio SV 500 Hybrid Integrated Amplifier.
