LOMC carts that like to be loaded at 500R

It seems the SUTs in my EAR 834 load at about 500 ohms. Can anyone throw out good MC carts under say $1000 that like that sort of loading? There are so many darn carts out there and it seems (unless I'm wrong) most like to be loaded a good bit lower than that.

Hi Inburrito, look out for MC with an output voltage of about 0.6-0.85 mV. They will like a matching impedance of about 500R. The suitable source impedance is a result of resistance due to more wire ( and its diameter ) on the MC's coil - resulting in higher source impedance which calls for a higher matching impedance in the SUT.

THere are of course some exceptions with MCs with lower output and still pretty high source impedance. The Denon 103R is such an example of current production with its up to 40 Ohms source impedance. It will work nicely with 500R primary on the SUT.
