Hi, I had my dealer put in a Cardas balanced phono interconnect that I got with my Ayre K3 preamp and that Ayre recommends for phono source. It was a bit hard to mount, but the dealer succeeded and I like the sound into the K3 very much.
hi I am thinking about upgrading my Ekos I cable...read on audiogon forum thgat you recently "re-wired mine with Aq Emerald X3. Noticeable (but not vast)improvement in warmth/resolution. Plan to try the AQ Amazon in the Fall." who did the work? Did you have AQ do it? did you consider Cardas [known for its warmth] or any other brands? thanks
