Linn silver cables came out around the time the company was 25 years old. No silver in silver IC's.

I am considering getting some Linn silver interconnects to better my system (Genki into an LK85 and an LK140 into Aktiv Ninkas).
First, do they actually contain silver wire?
Does anyone have any experience upgrading to the Silver ones these over the standard Linn black interconnects?
Finally does anyone have any suggestions for better interconnects for similar money?
