Linear Tube Audio

Btw I am very interested in the Ultralinear integrated.

Never heard either but just heard the Z10 at Cap Audiofest and it was fantastic powering Spatial Audio speakers. My first time hearing LTA and I was impressed.

Those are brand spanking new. My guess is they sound unbelievable much like all their other offerings...

Ive never heard a LTA product sound good, not sure why.

I heard LTA amplification driving the Spatial Audio's at Axpona and was super impressed with the sound of the system.  Mark Schneider, the CEO of LTA, graciously answered all my questions and explained the involvement of David Berning in the development of his line of amplification.  Virtually all the reviews of LTA gear are excellent.  The cost of the integrated amps on a per watt per channel basis is quite expensive, but clearly they use some amazing technology in their gear.  

I own the ZOTL40 and ZOTL Preamp. This gear is exceptional sounding. I heard the integrated at CAF and  It’s killer good. Mark and the guys at LTA are great to work with. LTA hasn’t been around that many years but David Berning has been designing and building these ZOTL amps for many years so there is plenty of reviews to read.

That quote I have seen before in reviews...whether written or on Youtube vids regarding this brand

Yes the price per watt is fairly high but I will say not only do these amps always sound great when I hear them matched with appropriate speakers but they also have a clearly unique design compared to most tube amps as I recall and that definitely helps to differentiate them from the competition. .

Still cannot recommend LTA highly enough. Paired with appropriate speakers some of the best sound available in a novel design that emits little heat, with tubes that last forever, and offered by a company that is led by a super guy with a great team. These are David Berning amps built by a guy who understands manufacturing and customer service--nuff said.
