Leave Passive DAC On All The Time?

Setting aside the environmental issue, I've seen it suggested that digital gear sounds best when it's left on all the time. Assuming that is true, I now have a DAC that has a purely passive* output section and I am wondering if leaving it on all the time would be sonically advantageous. Anyone care to opine?

(* the entire stage after the DAC chip consists of only a resistor and transformer.)

Leave on all solid state equipment all the time (unless there is a lightning storm or some other overriding reason).
