If Bander is correct, just changed CDM9 in another player, took about 20 minutes.
Laser assembly replacement?
I have a Wadia 850 which is about 10 yo. A Wadia tech recommends repalcing the laser assembly to the tune of 400 bucks. I don't notice a degradation in sound so i probably won't do it but has anyone here done it? Just curious about what your thoughts are. The tech claims replacement of the assembly is recommended at around the 8-10 year mark.
