Krell KMA100 monoblock AMPs versus McIntosh

I have a pair of Krell KMA 100 mono block amps that have just been reconditioned by the fellow in Conn that used to be the Krell maintence specialist. So they up to spec. All parts that "age" have been replaced.

My speakers are Revel Ultimata Salon2s with the Salon center channel.

I am designing racks to hold equipment and a single stereo amp will fit better in the available space.

I am considering selling the Krells and replacing them with a sufficiently powerful McIntosh amp.

Any thoughts on the sound quality implications of a switch from Krell KMA 100s to something like a McIntosh 2600?
