Krell HTS 7.1 Decoding & Firmware

I can't find this information in the manual or Krell web page. What is the highest level the HTS 7.1 DAC can decode; 24/96 or 24/192? Also, what is the most up to date firmware release (version 3.7?)?

I don't know about the DAC, but I have read that 3.7 is the last firmware version. My HTS 7.1, which I bought used a year ago and do love, is version 2.6. I emailed Krell several times before getting a response, to check on upgrading the firmware. They were not very helpful. They told me to forget the upgrade and just buy their new Pre/Pro, which is many thousands of dollars. At this point, I don't know what to do. Don't know if my problems are helpful to you.

Love the preamp side of my HTS, but the DAC side....  recommended pairing?  something compatible with Tidal ?

thanks
@sgtshultz - I would post this question in the computer forum.  I would recommend looking for something that has a digital COAX output.  I used to own an HTS 7.1.  The preamp section is very nice, but it is somewhat on the soft side (due to the op amps used in the input stage).  The DAC in the HTS is excellent if it is fed by a good digital transport source.  It can sound bright/harsh with the wrong source.  For example, an older Pioneer BDP-05 sounded really bright/harsh with no bass when using the digital COAX.  However, a cheap Sony BDP-S590 sounded very natural with excellent bass (through digital COAX).
