good question... I have the Klyne 7.3 and would probably go for the Cello Pallate instead but ? don't know the Encore. Klyne does have a very entising warm but detailed sound. I would think the Cello is maybe 'faster' a little more revealing and dynamic maybe?

I have one of the latest biggest 7th series Klyne LX/P 5.0 preamps with phono stage for some years now and I love it.
Now I would like to try an old Cello Encore 1MOhm preamp of the first series with integrated phono stage.
What can/should i expect from it? Will the cello have more resolution, will it be detailed, or will it maybe also be colder and analytical? Do recommend to try it?
