Kimber Silver Streak Vs. A.P. Solo Crystal Ovals..

Currently using the Kimbers between cdp and amp; good detail at the top, not very airy, but love the bass response. Would the Solo Crystals improve upon the Kimbers from top to bottom(especially the bottom end)yet be more airy/ transparent? Have also tried Homegrown Silverlace and while maintaining a good soundstage and depth the bottom end is very light so have sold them. Any comments on the A.Ps would be appreciated(my local dealer could loan me pr. to try)
