Just saw a pair on our local Craigslist site for $999 and almost bit on them, but I just built two new systems, one for home and one for work so passed. How are they?
Kef 150s—Just got 'em
Well, I've had them for about a month and, so far, I couldn't be happier. The slightest tap on a cymbal is crystal clear and the little boxes put out a surprising amount of base. Soundstaging is excellent. You can hear the space between Bill Evans and Scott LeFaro but the speakers aren't analytic or pure; Nick Cave is never torn apart from The Bad Seeds.
Does anyone else feel that there's little writing on the Web about what should be a major launch? Well, I'd like to hear from the other new owners out there.
