Just Saw Alice in Chains

William Duvall is doing a fine job as the new lead singer of the rock band Alice in Chains. they just played (11/01 in NYC) at the Nokia Theatre and sounded real good. If you can get by the idiots jumping around you will be pleasntly suprised. What I really appreciated is well over a half an hour acoustic set. All material teken from the MTV umplugged album, which in my opinion is one of the best sounding digital media out there. Anyone else seen the show ? If you remotely like them, Highly Recommended.

I haven't had a chance to see them yet - but I did see a few performances on TV and I must say I am impressed with the new singer.

He had some huge shoes to fill after Lane... but it seems like AIC made a good choice with him.

I only hope they can put out some new music that comes close to what AIC produced.

I agree about the unplugged album - it's phenomenal.
I too hope they capture the greatness of the original AIC they were truely a great band, the 2 Jerry Cantrell solo discs I have are pretty good also.
R.I.P. Lane, poor Bastard
