There's a full-page ad for this new turntable in today's San Francisco Chronicle, which of course sent me scurrying to my computer to look it up. It's designed in association with VPI, so it has a pretty good pedigree. Sure would be interesting to hear what it sounds like, but weighing in at $2500, it's a little out of my range for an experiment. Shinola's site implies that there will be other items in their audio line at some point, so we'll wait and see. They make a range of products from leather goods to watches to bicycles. Interesting company.
