Jplay Extreme mode best hardware?

Jplay has become a must for me and extreme mode the best option. However it demands a lot of memory (>4Gig)if you want to use the Internet at the same time as you listen to music without memory problems and it takes forever to realize you have clicked the "stop play" button in Jriver on my AMD X4 machine. So 2 questions

1) are you using Jplay in extreme mode with Jriver with little start/stop delay (less than 1 second) for music play?
2) if so what cpu/motherboard/memory are you using?
