I think when you post an obvious ad or even in some instances a wanted to buy, both of which have better places to be posted. It is sorta unpleasant to read an overt ad when every one else plays by the rules and pays for them. In your case however it is a vague enough "want to buy" which is not overtly and obviously trying to skirt any rule.
