I've seen these Japanese offerings and was tempted. Never tried to purchase for obvious reasons. Another "miracle format" with no support.
Japanese MQA CD's
I recently purchased 3 CDs direct from Japan that are supposed to be MQA. The discs even have the MQA logo on them. One, for example, is Christopher Cross, Warner WPCR-18234. I put it in my transport and then to an MQA capable DAC, No MQA. I rip the CD to an Aurender and then to an MQA DAC. No MQA.
What's the deal? Anybody know?
