Item Saids Paid In Full, But Paypal Saids Wrong ?

I assume you sold an item on Agon.
Payment was made through Paypal.

If the buyer uses a checking account only to pay for purchases through Paypal then it will take a few days for the transaction to be completed.

Is it because audiogon is holding the money until i pay the 100.00$ Fee i just received today ?

Agon has nothing to do with Paypal.... The transaction is between you and the buyer, period....

Just hold the item before shipping until the funds show up in your Paypal account.

Audiogon doesn't hold your money. (they don't care about your payment, only theirs) Just because the buyer marks it as paid, doesn't have to be the case. I've also had buyers send paypal money to my personal email, assuming that it is linked to my paypal, which it isn't. In those cases, they believe they paid, but, the money had nowhere to go. I usually send a friendly email, explaining that I have not rec'd it, and that I'm checking to verify it was sent. It always works out, but, DON'T ship until it hits your account.

Tons of scams on Paypal,google it.The best payment outside of cash is US postal money orders.When you get the MO take it the post office,cash it there.The clerk will run the money order to check if bogus.Normally they wont have funds on hand to totally cash it.Get what they have and re-buy another postal money with the balance.You have cash and a postal money order you know is legit.Take that new MO to your bank and U R done!

The post office checks it before doing anything...Its really the only form of payment outside of cash that has no risk..Paypal is shit plus fees attached.The US post office is cheap and secure.Trust me just do it!

The P.O. does not eat the loss. If the M.O. is bad, they will not cash it but they will send a postal inspector to investigate it as criminal fraud. And if you take that route, you would not have sent the goods because you would have gone to the P.O. first so you are secure.
