Is the BMG issue dead?

Back in the 80's there was an ongoing raging debate in some of the High end journals regarding the sonic deficiencies of the recording from some of the music clubs. Has that been resolved? Was there ever anything wrong? Is it still going on? Inquiring minds wanna know.

Back when they pressed the LPs themselves, it may have been an issue. Now, the get the CDs directly from the plants that are producing the regular CDs. BMG et all just have the labels on the containers modified to includ the BMG club stuff in the barcoded area. They are EXACTLY the same batch and pressings as any regular CD.
Yes, the BMG issue is totally dead, and if you'd checked the archives before starting this thread, you'd know that. This question has been thoroughly answered and thoroughly put to rest.
