There should be 2 XLR inputs on your amplifier for it to work, Oppo has 2 XLR outputs for dedicated stereo output, this is a ANALOG signal, you might be looking at a digital output.

interconnects between Oppo & Monolith Desktop Balanced Headphone Amplifier and DAC
I'm trying to figure out the interconnects between an Oppo & a Monarch headphone amp/DAC w/ AES3. Is there a balanced XLR3 (female) splitter from the Oppo to a AES3 (male) amp? Or should I just connect the XLR3 Oppo to the XLR3 amp?
