Interconnect for Pass Aleph 3/Aleph P

I now have Red Dawn forst version, but I am trying to get rid of any whispiness and forwardness I hear in my system. Any thoughts would be helpful.

They have a nice strong bass, and the high end isn't so revealing that you hear a lot of whispiness and sibilance. I still have an Aleph P, and I've used them between my CD and/or DVD player and my preamp.
