Interconnect 5pin Din to XLR

Trying to connect a Naim CD5 player with a 5 pin Din output to an Audio Research LS-15 Pre Amp. Any ideas on who would make such a cable? Length would be .5 to 1 meter. I would like to make up such a cable myself. Any suggestions and details would be appreciated. cordially, Richard P.S. I think I have the skill to build such a cable but lack the necessary details.

The Naim CD5 output connections are:

Viewing the chassis connector on the CD5 with "key slot" at top and the 5 pins going down in an arc from left to right as you view: CH1 - CH2 - NEG - NO Connection - NO Connection

On the XLR: PIN 2 signal + with PIN 3 signal - and PIN 1 CHASSIS Ground

If you take 2 lengths of shielded 2 core cable, take one length and connect one of the cores to CH 1 of the DIN and this core to PIN 2 of the XLR. Then connect the other core to NEG of the DIN and this core to PIN 3 of the XLR. Connect the shield ONLY to PIN 1 at the XLR

Repeat this for the other length of shielded cable connecting CH 2 of the DIN with one core to PIN 2 of the second XLR, the other core to NEG of the DIN and to PIN 3 of the second XLR and finally the shield ONLY to PIN 1 of the second XLR

Happy listening..! Regards, Richard
