if you are entertaining solid state (tubes typically sound better with focals imo) then you should try a higher end hegel... ridiculously good sound and a very good value too (though hardly cheap, for sure)

no affiliation other than being a very happy customer
For New:

Check out the AVM Ovation A6.2ME.  AVM works very well with speakers that are a bit forward like Focal or Magico and have relatively low impedance and are hard to drive.  It lists for $8K so I am pretty certain you will be able to get it on your budget.

The Naim Supernait will pair well with them.  Naim and Focal go together like peanut butter and jelly. The Supernait lists for $4990

Musical Fidelity NuVista 600 or 800.  The 800 was just discontinued but is not being discounted.  The 600 lists for $7290.

These will all deliver tons of detail without a fatiguing sound as they are on the neutral to warm side of the audio spectra.

For used:

If you can find a Gryphon Diabolo 300, it is an insanely good match.  As you can see, multiple people have it.

A Mark Levinson 585 or 585.5 should be in this range and will be a very good option.

You could also see if you can find something from Accuphase, Boulder or Constellation used in this range.

Full disclosure...I am an AVM, Naim and Musical Fidelity dealer.  I have no affiliation with Gryphon, Levinson, Accuphase, Boulder or Constallation
I am using gryphon diablo 300 perfect for Jazz which I listen most of the time.
Norma Revo IPA-140B. It has a darker nature that will match very well with Focal and will only be limited by the gear around it.

Note: I am the distributor. I didn’t want to be from a pure business point (I wasn't really in a position to pick up another brand), but after I heard their amplifiers, I found alternative funding to make sure I could represent them.
I had the focal sopra 2’s. Also had a audio research GSI75. This was a pretty great pairing. I see a few gsi75’s on audiogon right now. And right in your price range.
There’s a Vitus RI-100 here for $5850 ($13,000 new) so well within your budget.  Just buy it, take your ball and go home.
Currently have Bryston b135 integrated
Important to me inner detail and deep soundstage
‘What integrated might be a significant upgrade?
What aspects of sound reproduction do you value most? What amp are you using now, and what specifically would you like to improve upon?  The usefulness of any suggestions you get here will be directly proportional to the amount and quality of information you provide.
Focal and Naim  merged in 2011.
I have read , they oriented their products to have good synergies when used together.
Maybe, Naim Supernait 3  could be a good choice.
