indoor speakers used oudoors

Hi, just need an opinion,
we have planned a block party, next month,
and was thinking about setting my rig on the street,
just for fun, and impress my neighbors,
my speakers are VR vr4mk111, wonder, how will they sound outdoors, any suggestions ?

It's definitely a terrible idea. So many things to go wrong, and do you want to risk damage to your system?
If you want to show off, bring people you trust into your home to show them the rig. You might discuss it first and see if they have interest. If not, let it go.
Absolutely agree with this advice.
I had one rule going through college and for open parties when inevitably I was approached to use the system for dances; sorry, but No.

Unless you have full control of the system, and even if you do have full control, attempting to broadcast to the neighborhood is a good way to damage your speakers. It's one area of enjoyment of sound to which I would never subject my gear. If you're going to do it, go get a pair of cheap Insignia speakers or something from Craigslist or garage sale, so that if the worst happens it's a laugh and not a cry.

They'll play fine, but, it's a bad idea. You'll have no idea how loud they are actually playing. A few drinks, the volume knob goes to 11, bad things happen. Personally, I'd never bring my good stuff outside.
If you can setup a band shell or something similar behind the speakers I believe the sound would be much better. Almost any "indoor" speaker would benefit from the sound reinforcement such a device would provide.

And don't forget to have some waterproof tarpaulins at the ready in case of sudden inclement weather...
