Improving streaming input

As a result of a series of trial and error tests here are my suggestions for improving the quality of input to the streamer:
1. replace the stock cable beween router and wall jack with a fully shielded quality cable.
2. add an LPS to the router replacing the noisy wallwart
3. Use a high quality, short Ethernet cable between router and house loop. (e.g. Meicord)
4. Add an Ethernet Isolator/filter just before the streamer (e.g. EMO EN70–HD)
5. Use a short, high quality Ethernet cable between Isolator/filter and streamer (e.g. Meicord)

In my experience there is no need to reclock the signal before the streamer. Conversely anything that helps prevent noise from travelling along the Ethernet connection helps (e.g. ferrites).

Call me a low-brow mid-fi cotton ear but I got no problem with my Audio Advisor house brand Pandemic ethernet cable.  It is true, though, that Jay Victor (complete with lab coat) personally showed up at my retreat to plug it in.
Right now I'm streaming sumptuous if not truly world beating fidelity from a Primephonic-sourced Philips recording of Beethoven's Second Piano Concerto featuring Alfred Brendel and the Vienna Philharmonic. Via my Pandemonium ethernet cable.  What me worry?
