If you have a CD Player, you need to do this periodically...

I would rather imagine that most audiophiles are aware of this, but if not, may I recommend a very easy tweak that has always produced positive results in every system I've had:

Ayre - Irrational, But Efficacious!

Densen - DeMagic

These are System Enhancement Discs which reduces magnetism that has built up during playback. I'm pretty sure there are other products that purport to do the same thing. These two have certainly worked for me. Good listening!!

A CD or Blue Ray lens cleaner is also good.

I tried to order the new Densen DeMagic disc from Sight + Sound Gallery. Ordered it 12/29 of last year and never received it. They don't answer calls, just get transfered to voice mail. Very frustrating!!

Took me 2 months to get the Ayre disc in but well worth the wait  but really right on time as I had a new sacd player and preamp delivered just a few days later!

Been reading up on the Matthew Bond Cascade Noise Burn-In Disc – Version 2.0.

Ordered one today and it will be interesting to see if this item takes the system further than the Ayre disc.

I will share my thoughts after giving it a fair audition.
