I'm convinced-just ordered Black Mamba

I purchased a used Mamba Cord from usedcable.com for $250. I found this cord works well with my Pass Aleph P Pre Amp. Although I thought it was supposed to be broken in, I found after 2 weeks the Pre amp lost any coloration that was once there(before the cord) and the noise level dropped significantly. I did however find that I need to change out a pair of interconnects that went from Preamp/amp. Although powersnakes web page says there cords don't make your system bright it sure made some sonic differences. So I replaced some Audioquest cables with some smoother AIR 2 cables by tara labs. I couldn't be more pleased. I hope some day I can be rich like some of you guys or girls here and buy a Black Maumba or Cobra. hehe

I find that the best place to put powersnake powercords is in your front end ,matter of fact I find it dramatic also the same goes for the synergistic powercords

Congrats on your new power cord. I've owned Black Mambas for almost a year and find them to be outstanding at their price level. Wanted to let you know that these cords can take a while to fully break in. Mine started sounding good at 250 hours but took about 500 hours to reach their 'full' potential. But man was it worth the wait! At some point in time, I hope you have the opportunity to try a King Cobra. It will take your system to a new level. Enjoy...

where have you been under a rock avguygeorge,they are the most popular cables out right now they retail for $700.oo,I had the synergistic master coupler that is $275.00 and the black mamba are way better and the cobra is better than the black mamba but they retail for $1200

New to audiogon,never heard of these power cords. Are they more than$500?are they better than all the others.I've seen adds for 1500/2000 cords.I have the 275 and the 5/6 hundred Sy.Recearch I also have Aural Sy the 6 hunedred missing linc cubed.3 So blk.mam.cost more than what I got and are they better?
