As long as the speaker is being fed from a single amplifier channel, you are bi-wiring. When the preamp-out is going to two (or more) amplifiers (per channel), you are bi-amping. Can't guess why bi-wiring from "A" and "B" terminals sounds better than from "A" alone. Can only say "trust your ears" (and don't blow up your speakers!).
