yes carl my cd player is as good as yours,i thank you very much for all your help,and everyone elses for that matter, (guessing yet?),so you think the ayre v-3 will be deserving of the best cd player in the world(no doubt!!)yes carl,that's the one resaudio cd-50,latest revition,i thought it was me,but i'm glad i'm not the only one to hold this incredible player to such standards,personally i haven't heard anything close,the sfcd1 is a toy compareto the cd-50, thanks so very much to everyone,Al
