If you are referring to the Hhb 830 CD recorder, then yes. I have had one for about 18 months. I use it for the occassional playback of CDs and for making the occassional CD.

It has digital in and out, analog in and out, and it's SCMS free It is a respectable unit, not bad, not great.
When I use the 830 for playback, I take the digital output into an outboard DAC, when making recordings, I take a feed into the analog in from my phono stage. The level meters and display functions are all quite good.

There are some good prices from various sources out there, so if you are looking to get one, pricing is quite competitive.

That being said, if I had it to do over again, I would probably go with the Alesis Masterlink 9600 instead, as it also has an onboard hd of 40 gigabytes. As always, of course, this just my opinion. YMMV.
