Help with pre pro

I am looking at a Proceed AVP 2+6 right now and I dont know if this unit will do the same thngs that the newer units will do. like different formats like Blu Ray.

Not all BR players will do that. In addition, it does not offer any room EQ facilities that are almost de rigeur in modern processors. IMHO, it not the equivalent of the newer units.
