Help with finding rear speakers...

Try some used Paradigm ADP's or Atom.

I use the Paradigm ADP-150's for the "sides" as they are dipoles and radiate the null at the listening position.I wasn't sure if you meant rears or sides.They work well with a 100w/ch amp.

Phase Technology V-Surrounds. About the most versatile and best sounding surrounds available today. They can be switched to either bipolar or dipolar and come with a 10 year warranty. They are $450 new. I happen to have a brand new pair that's not even open, I'm selling for $350. A little more than the $250 limit. But I could come down some. It's listed here in the classifieds.

I use a pair for my rear surrounds in a 5.1 system and they are amazing. Originally I was going to use a second pair in a 7.1 system, but they work so well filling in the back that I don't even need back channels now!
