Help ..Meridian owners........

I just bought a Meridian 541 processor/pre amp..I got the remote Meridian MSR controller also..how do make the MSR learn other remotes,I search the Meridian MDF files but it does not indicate the code sequence to make the remote learn..can anyone give me the instructions to make the MSR learn other remotes..thanks!!!!

I actually like the MSR remote design,too bad it cant learn other remotes.Pity.....

Urggg..MSR cannot learn any other remotes?....the newer ones I know does....this is a disappointment....

Ya, me too---Hate the remote---Just to clumsy. AND big, I don't know why Stew. hasn't changed that after all these years.---On the sound "nobody does it better"--- On the remote:"everybody does it better"

The MSR is not a learning remote. Your best bet is to purchase a universal model (i.e. Pronto or Home Theatre Master) and program the Meridian codes into it. I have an all Meridian system and love the system but hate the remote. I use a Home Theatre master.
