Help...killed Linn SARA Isobariks

I wonder if anyone has ever taken apart a Linn SARA Isobarik speaker. My right speaker suddenly decided that only the tweeter was going to work... Can someone tell me how to take these speakers apart and what may be wrong? Thanks a lot... Dan

These speakers are built by first inserting the KEF drive units in thru the back, the back is then fitted and sealed. The only way to gain access is to send the speakers back to Linn (via the dealer..??) or cut out the rear panel to gain access to the drivers, repair, etc then reseal. We have an exploded diagram somewhere in the workshop showing all the Linn speakers but it is a couple of years since I last saw it. I will try and locate this and get the Sara detail copied for you if possible. Send me your email address for this. Hope this is of help to you? Kind regards, Richard at www.vantageaudio.com
Thanks for your response, Richard. I have taken out one of the drivers through the front but am not sure how the rest is laid out or how to proceed to the electronics. So far, everything is bolted into place and sealed with clear silicone. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. My e-mail address is [email protected] Thanks! Dan
