Helicon 800 - B&W 802D

Josedrm, for what its worth, I have heard both and prefered the Helicon 800mk2. It seemed more lively, transparent, and 3D. The 802D seemed a little more restrained, but it is also excellent. I didnt hear them side by side, so its hardly a fair comparison.

I didn't hear the Helicon, however those B&W's are surely not my cup of tea. There are a great many speakers that have greater sonic attributes for far less money. Before writing your check, check all those speakers in your price range.
