Heads Up for EELS fans

There's a new EELS album on the way next February. Below, I've linked to a stream of "Peach Blossom", the first track available from that release. Based on this one track, it looks like (MAYBE, HOPEFULLY?) this is a return to form after 3 straight EELS efforts that I found disappointing:

I played a couple of Eels albums last night during our regular Tuesday night music session. It's not just the music and lyrics, these early recordings sound quality is wonderful.

We played the 45 single of "Susans House" and two LPs, "Electro Shock Blues" and "Beautiful Freak."

Like you, I hope the new release is a return to their old style.
