HDMI send loud clipping and noise

I have my comcast cable dvr and my Arcam dv79 dvd player conected to my Samsung DLP tru HDMI imputs and it send some loud clipping noises in to my system. Samsung replace the digital board on my tv but everything sounds bad ,dynamics are gone. I have my audio conected in to Primere SP31 and my speakers are Cremona Auditors. Is possible then my speakers are damaged ? Or the dvd player or the processor?
Sorry my english is not god.
I switch my video imputs on my tv and my audio on the processor.

Try a new HDMI cable, especially if you can try a component hookup as recommended above and don’t hear the problem.  HDMI cables are pretty fragile and I’ve had them fail before, especially if it gets bent too far.  Also, go as short as you can as HDMI wasn’t designed for long distances.  FWIW, and best of luck.

Change your cables and make sure they are firmly and completely sealed. Often HDMI cables are stiff and springy enough to dislodge themselves spontaneously from the mating connector. The result most often is exactly what you describe.

Change your HDMI to component and see if the problem persists or bypass the tv with music and see if your speakers still have the clipping.
