So I did talk with ATI and even though it is essentially a Lexicon GX7 rebrand. It does have some differences. They did say it would be okay to do a 4 ohm load but to watch the volume. I did get the AMP an noticed it does say minimum 8 ohm> So I will probably sell it and go with something rated for the 4 ohm load. I have an option on a Rotel RMB-1076. Anyone have experience and thoughts on this since it’s class D?
Has anyone used the JBL AVA7? can it handle 4 ohm load?
I bought a used 7 Channel JBL AVA 7 I had read that it is basically the same as the Lexicon GX7. However, after some research, I noticed in the documentation lists only a 8 ohm load.. I am running Magnepan 1.7i Front’s and magnepan .06 in rear Along with MGCC3 center all 4 ohm. I called JBL and they don’t know other than what the documentation says. So I am hoping someone here has tried it and can verify.
