Has anyone tried JC1 and B&W 802Ds?

I now have Parasound A21 Parasound P3 and Ayre CX7
All cables are Transparent Ultras and I am running
in balanced mode

I run JC1s and I think that the character of the sound is similar to the A23. I have not heard the A21 but I would bet it is similar. Im not familiar with your speakers but if you like the A21 you will probably get more of what you like with the JC1s. Hope that helps.

Some people find it sounds a bit better on the balanced input.
