On 'Elementary', Sherlock Holmes has a McIntosh set up with maybe some KEF or Monitor speakers (they appear to have aluminum cones) |
Meridian speakers have definitely gained a foothold in Hollywood. Have seem them numerous times. Two movies that come to mind are "Get Him to the Greek" and "Couples Retreat" but I know they've been in others. Pretty easy to spot.

along the same lines, have you guys seen the latest H&R Block ad where the fellow is playing a LP on a TT? Does anyone know which TT that is? And, which tonearm that is? it's definitely an all-mechanical TT. thanks. |

That's progress. Tony Randall and Jack Klugman only had a clunky console stereo back in the 70's.
BTW OHMs and Mc gear and a marantz table I think on teh set of the new Amazon TV series "Bosch, the Jazz and Vinyl Loving Cop".
Actually its just called "Bosch" the rest is just a made up qualifier for audiophiles. :^)
