A few days have passed, and still no takers on this question. I'm afraid I am not qualified personally to answer, not having the requisite listening experience with this headphone amp. But I would suggest that you try this same post on head-fi.org. That is the "reference" site for all things headphone related, whereas Audiogon is for everything else.
