Is it possible to find a decent pair of speakers for under 500? I heard a pair of Totem Dreamcatchers that sounded quite nice for $430. Admittedly, I know very little... which is why I am starting small.
There is a fellow selling Silverline SR-11's used on Audiogon. Asking $675, retail new is $1500. Buy these and you will never look back - although at some point you'll probably add a REL sub, as you would for any high quality minimonitor. Art
