My recollection is that the Zinman/Dawn Upshaw version (can't remember the label) was a rarity of a mainstream label and an audiophile-quality recording.

Yeah, thats the london sinfonia one, but it just doesn't cut the mustard!

The only time I heard it clearer than the mentioned London CD was when Zinman premiered it at the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore.

I have the version to look for, I think. It is a vinyl copy I picked up in Paris. It is the soundtrack to "Police" with Gerard Depardieu and the Symphony is the Sudwestfunks-baden-baden. It's great talk about sound. The CD s terrible get the record!
