I wish I would have had a decent turntable when I started getting better equipment. It is more hassle but it is worth it at then end of the day. If you are going digital try the digital forum for your question, good luck.
While turntable is the best source, I hope you got deep pockets. When you read about how vinyl is better than CD, that is true, "if, and only if" you got deep pockets.
