good preamp match for Audiopax 88's?

I am looking for a preowned preamp for Audiopax 88's with Zu Definition II's. Tube or SS is fine but anyone with experience finding a good fit would be appreciated. I know the Audiopax 5 is supposed to be a good match but they rarely, if ever, pop up.
