You may just need an amp if the DAC2 has remote volume/preamp capabilities. I'm running my M106 with a Conrad Johnson Classic 2SE pre and McCormack DNA 125 amp and they sound incredible. The Revels are definitely worthy of very good amplification and source components, I am continually amazed at how great these speakers are.....
Good Integrated Amp for Revel M106 Monitor
Anyone use these or have opinions on a good integrated amplifier match for this speaker? What a beautifully balanced speaker! My preference leans toward the warmer side of the spectrum. I did hear this briefly with the NAD C375BEE, sounded nice. Also running a W4S DAC-2. Thanks.
