Good center speaker to match Von Schweikert VR-1s?
Like the header says--what center channels would be a good match for the VR-1s? Are there any non-VS speakers that would match reasonably well, or is it necessary to buy the same brand to match?
the traditional wisdom, which is subscribe to, is to match your fronts and centers (the rears being less criticial). von schweikert does make a center, which pop up in the classifieds now and then; even better, i'd use another vr-1.
