Glue to attach speaker cloth to plastic?

I have a couple of pairs of bookshelf speakers (Energy and Image) that have the stretchy speaker cloth. The frames are plastic. In both cases the cloth has slipped off the plastic in the centre top and bottom. I want to reattach it. Wondered what people were using to do this. Wondered about contact cement, model builder's glue, superglue etc. Needs to either dry fast without sticking my fingers too or be left to get tacky (hence contact cement). Both seem potentially messy. Any advice?
